Chang-e The Moon Goddess~

This is my last thesis piece, its probably the most famous Chinese Goddess of all, her name is Chang-e! We even have a holiday dedicated to her, and its the Moon festival!
So, this goddess lives on the moon with her pet rabbit, and since a rabbit is so small, it would be hard to make it stand out, I decided to draw the rabbit sort of a decorative image on the entire moon. Instead of drawing the goddess on the moon, I drew her flying/floating to the moon.  And again, my thesis is to make all the Chinese traditional goddesses look like superheroes, thats why she is wearing a super tight body suit..yay!

Mother of the Dragons.

Okay...This one took me a while to finish, pretty happy with it for now, maybe some little fixing later on? So, her name is Long Mu, she is the Goddess of the dragons, she raised 5 baby dragons and thought they were snakes at first, but then they kept growing bigger and bigger, and finally became 5 beautiful dragons, and each dragon has their own special powers and duty.

Thesis work and some working process!

After painting on photoshop for many hours, this is the Final?
Ok so here is a new thesis piece I just finished, I'm not sure how I feel about this piece, I think I'm happy with it, but then I kinda dont really like it at the same time, maybe because I spend so many hours looking at it, I'm just tired of it, I probably will like it more after I get some sleep? I don't think its this is the final, since I do still have to show it to my thesis teacher, and after that I probably have to change and fix lots of things.....But for now, this is what I have!

This piece is about a Chinese Goddess called Mazu, she is basically the Goddess for the Sea, she looks after the fishermen, and bless them with big fish!! Well...if you search online, Mazu doesn't usually looks like this, well this is what I think she should look like!

ps: you might wondering why the photos of my water colour paintings are so much brighter and better looking than the final, well, its actually pretty dull looking in real life, but somehow my iphone camera manage to make everything brighter and prettier, so the final image is what the painting suppose look like in real life, don't let the iphone fool you!!

Mailer!!!

Mailer Front
Mailer Back
I just finished my mailer paintings, haven't done the design parts yet, going to do that tomorrow! I think I might have gone a little crazy with the man's hairy legs...and everything else..LOL! But I can't help it, it's honestly the most fun part to do!! And I also enjoyed drawing the tattoos on the girl, since the hairiness on the guy draws so much attention to him, so I had to think of something to make the girl stand out as well, therefore, TATTOOS! Can't wait to finish everything and see the prints...feels like I'm working too slloooowwwww~~~~~

The Goddess of the Sea

New final rough for another thesis piece, she is the Goddess of the sea, she brings the fish to the fishermen and keep them safe at the sea! Now I'm going to paint!

I like Bunnies!

If I was a really tired boy bunny, I would look like this right now. I drink a lot of Tea and I draw a lot of bunnies...you'll see.

....

I drew this 2 years ago in my sketchbook, and then recently edited it in Photoshop, I don't normally draw things like this, my works are usually happy and silly, but this is kinda emo.
